So he wasn't invincible and finished him off shortly after

Rules for the No Damage:1)If you got damage then you can't start from Checkpoint as there is no such option.2)If you die intentionally after getting damage then your health will regenerate but you will find out yourself sometimes somewhere else also if you already used your ammo then there is no recovery of same number of ammo, therefore you can't edit.your entire No Damage fails.So only option is that you have to start again from the last save and games saves only at the ending of the Quest.For example if your quest includes 5 Missions then you have to complete all 5 missions without taking any damage.If you fail even at the end of the 5th mission you have start again from the beginning of the Quest.In simple words you have to beat each Quest without taking any Damage,not a Mission only.If a Quest includes 7 Missions then you have to beat all 7 missions without any mistake,that is the Challenge

2): If you are hit, you are to delete your save and retry from the beginning of the game.

Btw just a reminder if you are actually attempting it. If rais's men have a random shooting pattern, restart checkpoint. You want them to have a firing pattern that can be easier to dodge. Once you manage to get the checkpoint, restart and then load back in so that way the ai above you don't hit you.

And by easier i mean one that is less likely to get you damaged

One problem with that you can't avoid is in the pit when the demolisher first appears and charges you. On speedrun you won't have the dodge ability unlocked and he will ALWAYS hit you.

When I was playing Dying Light that time I also tried that Pit escape and I successfully manage to finish him without taking any damage but I got the Damage while escaping from there.Rais's men firing is the real problem.I tried 3 times but after that haven't. You can use throwing knifes on cylinders to blast them so that multiple infected get finished.

You are to finish the game from start to end without taking damage. There is no timer, there is no leaderboard, it is simply a challenge meant to be completed by the rules set.

But I really don't care if you do it by checkpoints or restarting from that quest, this just applies to a no damage run that involves deleting your save if you do take damage.

There's a lot of bayonets to go around. You can have some that are shaped like a spike, good at puncturing, and there are blades of various lengths and an edge on either, or both sides. One of my favorite kind are long, flat and double edged ones.
