viewmodel is your arms during all the weapon animations and increasing the fov regarding it makes more of it visible so it creates the illusion that your arms are further away

when you edit your regular field of view, it increases your cone of vision horizontally and vertically

I think I get what you are saying since I encountered a “glitch” in Skyrim when I changed the fov 120, it increased my cone of vision aswell as extended my arms and made things look further away, but when I went to the menu, the arms and everything that looked further away reset but I still had more vision around me

in DL they separated the first person weapon animations, all of them, from the rest that your body does

#

basically the rest of the animations are just things your body does and increasing your cone of vision obviously just makes you see them happen where the body seems to be

you will just see more of your body and the anims go away with the body

#

but when it comes to holding a weapon or any attack animation in general that includes using your hands

#

all the animations are unaffected by your fov and you still hold your hands the same distance from your face as default

#

I guess its because if those anims worked like the rest they'd look worse

#

and they designed them to fit that field of view they're set to

#

bethesda games dont have this thing and thats what it would look like in DL

#

if they didnt protect the fps weapon anims from being affected by fov change

#

so you have another fov value u have to increase, just for the anims where crane holds something in his right hand

Yeah:

Bozak Horde provides dockets that you can redeem at the quartermaster for a random gold weapon.
Prison Heist can offer gold weapons in the vault room if you manage to get guru reward (it’s a time based thing).

There’s also BTZ rewards but you don’t play BTZ for golds lol
