I am working on minecraft map with short story and mechanics from original Dying Light. I am using mods and command block. I added features like:

• parkour system with stamina

The whole story went by without anyone ever finding out what Crane did with those TWO crates of antizin. And remember how 2 whole levels turned in the Tower and kids died?... How desperately Brecken was calling Crane while he ran errands for Rais, screaming at him to bring antizin faster...

And they never knew what Crane did. They never knew that those people would've never had to die. The people who saved Crane's life at the start...

Crane was a villain at first. A DOG to the GRE.

How he put the tower together, how he taught everyone how to survive- Tbh i think all the characters deserved more time and deeper developed moments and stories, but sadly it's a 1st person game so you only know as much as Crane knows. But i like to look at the story in a 3rd perspective as if all the characters are main characters. 😊😊

Dying Light is a very strong lesson about considering how others feel in my opinion. Crane's perspective and selfishness looks like good to us because we are him. But if we try painting Crane as a villain for Rais and the Tower.. We realize it's not so simple. And i think that's the beauty of Dying Light.

The moral of the entire story is that Everyone Is A Hero In Their Own World. Everyone thinks they're doing the right thing.
