Dont stress too much. You'll find inhibitors as you play and run around. The immunity isnt too bad if you pay attention and manage it if you're in a big building or underground. Use your boosters, grab shrooms

The story is a convoluted mess
The reason for the story even starting(aidens sister) is extremely illogical as how would she even remember him
The "book club" mission leads you to have sex with the librarian assistant,as long as you fulfill a god awful amount of pointless quests that lead to you to 15 locations +,where you'll then get one piece of dialogue as a reward.
"Gritty + dark" feature is literally just darkness even with the flashlight; techland somehow made it to dark.
Why are volatiles in dark zones just standing there doing nothing?
Youre choices mean nothing when theres a literal colour that tells you if you're gonna progress; Its more or less a 1 way system marketed as 2.
Zombies are genuinely a afterthought,they made zombies great in DL1; but made humans ass in DL2; how did they completely switch it?
Why does every character read the same red coloured book?(minor)
Collectable screen is genuinely horrendous; why does it make the entire name of the thing you collect scroll when its a 1 word difference.
Why does the flashlight turn off when you enter a cutscene with a dark surrounding?
Why does it take so long for volatiles to get in a chase with you.(lvl 2+)
Why did the screamers get reinvented back into garbage?
Why cant you use your flashlight when you receive a distress call?
Why whenever aiden uses survivor sense he puts his weapon up?(minor)
Why cant you pick up items without using survivor sense?
Why does Sophie close the door on you at the end of the cutscene and leave you by yourself in her room?
Why does every character just teleport away when the dialogue finshs?
Why does Sophie talk to Hermann like he isnt deaf.
Why is the military side of the game; the pks; going into their most dangerous mission with pipes and sticks?
Lack of emotional connection with nearly all side characters are non existent.

What do you mean why are they standing there doing nothing? Not like they have anything else to do when they don't see you or hear you. Same thing with normal zombies they just stand there because what are they going to do? Parkour around?
Mostly true but there is missions that will give you an ammount of time to pick 2 choices that effect the story or maybe without the timer it will effect it.

Flashlight turning off in cutscenes makes sense if it is cutscene where you talk with someone so you don't just spam flashlight into their eyes i guess.
Volatiles start a chase whenever i am close to them idk how is it for you.
For survivor sense it could be that Aiden knows there are enemies because you can see them too on hard,normal and easy. And on nightmare it could be pure instinct,you want to see loot and you expect some zombies to be around it.
Why you can't pick up items without using survivor sense? You can? Or you got some kind of a glitch where it only lets you pick up loot in the 3 seconds of survivor sense?
Not like the pk's have anything better,the crossbow they give Aiden and those sticks and pipes are all they got. I don't know why they don't use their crossbows but it's not like it matters it's shit anyways.
Guns are just mass teror in wrong hands and are way faster than bows and crossbows and they can reach greater ranges,that could be the excuse i guess

Aiden has nothing to connect with Sophie except do her little shitty missions amd for pks their base gets raided. The team you had a chance to connect with dies in vnc tower while others just fade or die. The only side pk i think you could connect to is Cyra because of the dogtags and what you see and Aiden drops comments about the soldiers. I don't see it being good if Aiden was to go and connect with everyone or even the main story only people

You dont care to much about waltz though,hes just a annoyance, I had no hatred for him from the jump.
You dont feel emotional connected with Mia, almost all of the characters,even down to the leaders of the two factions arent even that important to you.
They all feel like npcs,that may sound odd as they are; but in dying light they feel far more human,you can also hear how much crane connected with them as well,especially due to the voice acting presented,whilst aidens voice acting feels far below par,and thats a reason for a lack of emotional connect.

There is no point of caring about leader of the two factions because one wanted to hang you in the start and other one is just crack addicts and maniacs. You feel Cyra because her husband died in the vnc tower. You care about most of the people that you deliver mails to in carriers. You got nothing to care about people that attack you because it's been years and they clearly don't care anymore. They have common sense on that point because they got into such thing. You can always be by survivors and do nothing in uv light.
Waltz is why you are coming to the city. When talking with Spike you talk about him because you wanted info. Maybe not at that part but you start caring at a point. You also kinda care about everyone because you are trying to stop the bombs and protect the people even if it means losing Lawan

Only people that attack you are bandits and renegades. Those people could have worked for survivors but Waltz pays better i guess. But it's not about the money it's about moral if you are ready to kill random people because some random pays better and lets you be an idiot im free time then sorry bud,but how do i feel you if you did this yourself

Well, for someone totally new to the game, DL1 can be "difficult", but once a player realises that levelling up isn't linked to the mission progression, it gets damn easy. A player literally needs max 2 hours to fill each skill tree, except for some 24-30 hours for legend levels (5400 packs with the snow ops outfit)
I managed to max all skill trees and legend 250 in 31 hours while I was still on the "Airdrop" main story mission (that is 2% of the story).
So, it is pretty meh compared to DL2

Fair but im talking as someone who doesnt do that and just plays at a slower pace i guess

Point is, DL1 doesn't require much mastering if at all. 2 parkour moves, 2 attacks and a teleport grappling hook. (kuai dagger speed stacks and pyza suit 😂 )

well I messed up 🙁 I was in a vc with 3 others and a bit of yapping and when the windmill ||blows up|| and later when the workshop guy ||gives his last words|| I assumed becasue of the choice to ||I thought it was to just tell his son he died|| or go to the next city, I chose the city since my friends had already played and I thought that was a bit of a nothing burger choice, Well... We got to the city and then they decided to get off for the night, I was like sweet better head back and do the side quests and activities in the first town, Did not realise my choice meant ||bazarr is gone now pre much and the quest givers there are dead lmao|| all that for trying to rush to the next city 🙁 haha

hey guys i had dlc i bought earlier (mainly the gun pack is the issue) i got on and redeemed them all but i quit out bc i had to run some errands

and when i got back the game didn't save and some of my dlc was not in the stash (the other items i also redeemed were back in stash though) and I bought them via the menu not via steam store

Two-handed weapons can ignore armored targets and you can resist all a small bit of natural stagger sources on top of that

Agree, but sharp 2handed weapons don't stagger me too (AND deal more damage). So why take a 2H blunt weapon, when a 2H sharp does also damage, without own-stagger and deals more damage?
