Upgraded Molotovs aren’t to be played with, always hold down the throw button so you can see not only the radius of the explosion but also where exactly it will land and that’ll never happen to you.

Explosives and Mollys have a huge radius in this game especially when upgraded so it’s easy to assume your safe when your not. It just takes an extra second to make sure it doesn’t happen again and to be more precise

Nope, neither the PKs or Survivors move into the sunken city it remains empty other than infected. You do get access to drowners around the map if you drain it though as well as the swamp bolter which can be kicked for blue crystals otherwise it’s the same as a regular bolter. It’s mainly drained for more space to climb around on, drowners and easy access to the sunken air drops otherwise it doesn’t add or change anything. I don’t even think there’s any safe zones there but maybe there’s a few?

It could be that there’s a separate group that was pulling the strings, a part of the GRE works for them, and the other part works just for the GRE while being unaware and thinks they are the good guys. Like how the part of the GRE in Villedor was just trying to help people but were thrown under the bus and had most of the public’s hate directed towards them.

My memory on how the virus infected the world is fuzzy and spotty, but I think it was said that the virus went airborne, killed a lot of people, then the remaining people went to walled off cities. Walled off cities also doesn’t really make sense for this kind of outbreak because (fuzzy part here) in order to get infected you need to be bitten, plus the virus is susceptible to uv rays. Overall, doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.

Yeah it took me a few tries. Once the volatiles are dead it becomes easy

Watch a youtube video and learn about all the crystal locations and then after the volatiles are gone, sprint to those crystals and don't try to kill any zombies unless you get blocked

Eh they’re alright. I prefer the GRE hospitals but most of the hospitals and dark hollows have a select few templates but are really copy pasted. Vibes are better in the hospitals IMO. Just wish they saw the detail, better loot and handcrafted ness the beast dark zones saw.

Mainly because hospitals have ammo at the end and gear in some chests alongside some first aid kits. Dark hollows in 2 are a lot of junk mainly valuables. Never ammo.

The most action you’ll see in them is when the volatile hive encounter pops up in one. 😅

Only crappy part is stealth is done not as great in 2 nightmare and I love using the bow. You cannot one shot npcs/infected (not more resistance infected goons etc) in the head like the beast. Things in nightmare just hit you hard while you can hit them hard back and better. Plus guns though not surprised are more effective in that game.

Not for consoles like Xbox I’d say. They’re shafted with 5 mods max and it’s just cosmetic effects. No gameplay changing ones like Baldurs gate 3 where you can download up to 100 mods that do tons of things. Wish Techland did a system the way Larian did mods for consoles. Hell even Bethesda Xbox does modding better. (Soon it’s gonna get 100GBs in mod space fallout 4)

The classic flat rooftops with different elevations and mainly AC units, wood/construction platforms. (Not counting safe house bases for PK/Survivors) for me old town beast really filled in that flatness with objects and such.

Yeah the beast damage resistance boosters don’t see you be stun immune anymore to bigger specials like goons and demolishers. Trade off is they aren’t as spongey despite hitting hard on nightmare. Now for 2 you need the booster or you’re constantly on your ass and that’s my problem. Maybe if they worked like TB balance. I think final floor hosptials dark hollows work but regular apartments and such nah.

I’ve kinda been bored of the survivor parkour stuff and I mainly grapple hook around and across gaps or glide I’m max so the revive doesn’t mean anything anymore unless I respawn nearby for my loot. Problem is volatiles start killing you are locked in animation if nearby and sadly for PK side techland never added a new perk for the PKs after you get the crossbow that replaces it. Or alongside it. I’ve always wanted PK reinforcement since survivors get the revive and pretty sure an approve idea is companions or something but doubt we ever see the idea happen atm.

It’s quite easy to tell if the bed is broken or not it’ll literally be backwards

And the only ones that are broken are some of the night runners hideouts

If it’s facing towards the wall it’s broken if it’s facing towards you/ outwards the proper way it’s fine

I’m assuming a bug flipped the beds because they weren’t always like that and I doubt Techland turned some around for no reason. Something caused the assets to flip

They definitely went hard after launch, but it seems they’re running out of steam. They did so much relatively quickly an now they haven’t really don’t anything. Partly because they were hard at work making the beast but now that it’s over hopefully we see them pick it back up again. I’m happy with the event and I’m glad the flashlight changed I hope they keep the momentum going
