Well yeah it’s meant to be played long term, you’re not going to finish everything in one playthrough the game is meant to be played through multiple times. At least twice for sure you get them pretty frequently when running around the open world so just run around for a bit and you’ll find them fairly often

this lance has been really nice too, 40% damage on poisoned targets when poison is such a long DoT duration is great, and it comes with a built in power mod on its 3rd slot

Hi this is for people who just got the grappling hook. If you pull an enemy towards you you can run towards the enemy and use that same zombie that you grappled towards you to do a drop kick if you press R1 when it appears when the zombie is in air to perform a drop kick. How it works is it allows you to hop over their body and you can use that to drop kick them kind of when you are hopping over something and if you hold R2 it lets you drop kick any zombies nearby. This is the end of my message sorry it was so long just wanted to tell people who just got the grappling hook something cool you can do that can help you when fighting the reason I even made this message is because someone tried to report me cuz they thought I was hacking and they were about to report me but I left just in time

I love dying light 2, it’s a fantasic game at its core but man tencent is just trying to kill it

It was going to be a 3rd of the size if it stayed a DLC, I’m happy it became its own game because it allowed it to do so much more even though it’s a smaller game than 2 it’s much higher quality in almost every way

It’s high quality, the game is great, but it’s super short and easily the least replayable in the franchise

I love the dying light games don’t get me wrong, but their post launch plans under tencent are horrid

The Pubg collab was sick, we also got the COTB event, NG+ update and nightmare update within 4 months of the game being released that’s WAYYYY faster than both games got content

every dl game lacks replayability at launch, apart from dl2 which has a ton of story paths but the story sucked. The point of DLTB is less quantity but a whole lot more quality

COTB was pretty lackluster but it was still something, better than nothing that’s for sure

They don’t play remotely similar

DL the beast plays the exact same as dl2, just on a new map

It is quite literally a 60 dollar dlc

I mean kind of? I get Kyle crane is back but the story isn’t that crazy lol. I did like most the side quests more but I think dl2’s story was more engaging as a whole

The beast is EXACTLY what they advertised it to be

Combat is definitely different an so is the gore

Look at dl2 guns and look at dltb guns, they’re the same

The physics are also different and not super floaty

You keep your momentum, and the physics of it are a lot smoother

combat is yeah the same but it's much more weighty and better imo. Plus, Beast Mode is a thing

You also hold to stay attached rather than tap which allows you to keep your momentum and swing. You also don’t pull infected as far. Because the games physics are grounded

You keep the momentum in the same way you kept your dl2 momentum. Dl2 grapple don’t slow you

Try to swing and let off the grapple

You come to a complete stop and have to keep jumpin to go forward

On the beast you can swing and let go of th grapple and pick up speed each time without having to jump

You can kick off the grapple though, and then slide to gain momentum with a timed after boost

Kicking off still slows you down

nah some DL2 animations have you lose your momentum like the monkey bar swings

In terms of the promised community ideas stuff and Aiden missing out on goodies for his own game is quite depressing

I actively play both games I know this by heart I’ve put 350 hours in the beast and 600+ on DL2
