On a new game playthrough (not NG+) missions have their own recommended lvl to be completed, it may have been a low lvl while you were both high lvl which resulted in a quick death

Meanwhile NG+ scales mission lvls to your lvl (9 being max)

Human combat is fun when ya dont use modifications to stun them and alike. Perfect block to do vault kicks to stun em or yeet em, enemy jumps which you can follow up with an air kick, block charge to get someone on the floor and stomp them

All these moves which end game you barely use cuz attachments on weapons stun em easily and allow easily to be killed

You would throm them off rooftops with grapple or dropkick to save ya durability for good weapons, end game when nothing matters you freely waste it as it can be easily repaired

I've never really worried about durability as I'm a horder when it comes to loot... I make sure I only spend it when I really need too...

Damn easy bounties. For the first one, go to Baba's place. Make volatiles follow you over the wall. Shoot volatiles using a shotgun while performing a parkour shot. It is easier than it sounds.
For 2nd one, go to the big bridge near culvert island (or any bridge with howlers) and kick or pull/tug the howler with the grappling hook off the bridge

Pretty easy, if you play on Eaay difficulty you’ll get the most amount of money for the items you sell. Just loot everything including humans and always pick up every weapon you come across to sell. Looting military convoys and killing volatiles is also a good way to get valuables.

It’s honesty ridiculous how fast you can get a million just by selling weapons and armor

Even lower tier armor gives 2-3k

Also be aware of when your weapon inventory is full so you don’t end up missing out on selling weapons

This update was a bust, it’s not all bad I’ve have plenty of fun fighting the special infected and the increased infected count, the rewards have been nice too I just wish it was more. People complained lot about the cotb challenges because they were so lackluster so im genuinely surprised they did the same thing with this event, im hoping the new update for the beast is something a bit more in terms of content

Yeah the streets are usually really boring during the day and the event added a lot of life to them rotating zones. I’d love to see it become a full feature that each day the outbreak hits a different area and makes it a bit more dangerous.

The updates are usually good but this event good on paper execution of goal numbers bad. TB had great reviews and sales at launch. It sits very nice alongside 1 as my #1s the QOL and effort the beast got was great to me. I’d get if 2 you’d delete but TB bodes well for the next game personally since that’s the techland I knew from 1. It was a make or break it game and DL4 was hanging for its life fate wise if TB failed but now it’s got more life and for those that beat it now due to the plot where 4 is going story wise.

That’s what worries me though. The Beast is a callback but had been only a fix in temperament after DL2’s disappointing overall quality and elements along with nostalgia bait with Crane. (Which I don’t mind Crane, he’s the best) Don’t get me wrong it’s fun but they could have done more with it to be fair.

I dunno. Techland ain’t the same to me as a company back then when I loved DL1 for how it stands out to be unique for its time. I wouldn’t say he’s nostalgia bait, he was planned from the start to be used and brought back as the “beast” when the stuff got exposed they switched the roles of the DLC2. Some did say it would’ve taken Kyle to Japan after the beast to take on [Redacted] (this could easily change) DLC2 was also much smaller content and map wise if you saw the old map concept. This game turned into something better and I advocate hard for the beast. 2 walked so TB could run so there’s no denying TB came up with this stuff out of nowhere. The next entry to me if it’s given the QOL and care the beast got I will look at closely. I’ll get the game and if it’s a good launch I’ll keep supporting but if it’s not they won’t see my money towards any DLC. Now if we got DLC2 that would’ve been another big updates besides tower raid. I still would’ve expected just normal support that were getting now just the same for 2. It’s done in 2027. The most important thing the community needs to do is get Techland to be more vocal, for us to be more seen and heard. Their communication at launch was good for TB but since then has gone quiet. (For the sake of a smooth launch) and I wish they’d correct a lot of events on the fly goal wise and such by being vocal on their socials directly with us fans.

I just want QOL and backport from TB for 2 as the bare minimum a lot of the changes are great.

It all depends on Techland whether they’ll fulfill whatever they have honestly. After DL2’s support ends, it’s just a downpour from there. DL2’s legacy stained Techland’s reputation as it is.

Yeah it the previous leak with what was supposed to follow with Japan and who Kyle was gonna go after but since it happened roles got reversed for DLC2 so Idkn if we’ll see Japan. I think that would be a perfect setting for parkour heaven and story. Sadly when they promise a lot of years of support I did not expect it to be fully consistent or better and better. I just still hated how I almost had to spend 20$ for wolf but had extra currency I think they gave people. I used it on the shovel had 100 left over and it was enough to get the 10$ currency to get it. The black hand at least was 10$ still hate fomo but the bundles imo have been quality for the 2 just not the fetch quest bs but the items. 2 may have stained it but TB recovered it and again it’s do or die because with the plot for the next game they can’t mess it up. Every time I start up my games the bloody ties dlc and whatever else randomly says I don’t got it downloaded until I restart the game here and there to fix it lol

When you get themessage "Bloody Ties no longer available" on the loading screen DO NOT START THE GAME! Immediately shut the game off and restart until the message goes away otherwise you will lose all your Bloody Ties items and collectables, the only way to get them back according to support is to rollback the save. I've had this many times, seems to be an xbox problem.

I then went to carnage hall and found that most of the stuff had been reset. Tried rolling back my save, but farthest I can go is when I had realized the stuff was gone. There’s an easy convoy near the windmill on close to Houndfield that’s easy to do for a chance for artifact valuable. Night runner hideout at Quarry’s Junction’s swimming pool area has a guaranteed spawn for wine on the top of the hideout. Or near the soccer field area on Houndfield on a building near the wall art is a smartphone artifact valuable

Low gear value, yeah. Also some of those stats don’t do anything cause they’re disabled on nightmare. Health regen speed, survivor sense and I forgot what else is disabled

Whereas Brawler and Tank have stats that are ongoing and hundred times more effective as a whole on top of decent gear value

• Brawler from TR Sola Shop and Harper Shop
• Ranger from TR Sola Shop and Shen Xiu Shop
• Medic can skip and use the First Pilgrim set instead, coz it is the most perfect set for that play style, so Outpost armoury is where u get it. If you insist on the Medic set, then the TR Sola shop
• Tank gear set from day golden encounters and random high +very high locked chests. It used to be a TR Sola shop offer, but it was removed with the last Halloween TR update.

I have gear slots with all 4 pretty good sets, and use them according to the situation
So, almost perfect Brawler (slot I), almost god-tier Tank (slot II), pretty decent Ranger (slot III) and the First Pilgrim (slot IV)

• Ranger can be useful in Nightmare if used with Bows, XBows and silenced firearms, coz of low armour value
• The First Pilgrim set in Nightmare mode can be very tricky coz of the low armour value, still it can be useful for the night gliding and parkour.

Hmmm. I should probably start making loadouts of similar nature as yours. Ranger set can be good for decent out reach scenarios actually. I may skip on brawler personally, well not entirely maybe a mix of hybrid tank until I get my godroll set but yep.

First pilgrim is something I keep overlooking. The parkour stamina cost reduction is the highest I’ve seen on that but never tested it myself how effective it is

i have a maxed out for damage reduction on each at max damage and stamina on ranger but honestly 4 tank pieces and 2 brawller have always worked best for me

if you wanted to grind out max gear you missed your chances best time is during the christmas event

Mix and matching armor pieces work well. Depending on the use-case scenario. On nightmare, sadly medic and ranger armor takes a debuff of losing certain stat passive making their armors less appealing.
