what is the point in overhauling dl2 with the beast's mechanics if you can just play dying light the beast?? theres no point in having 2 seperate games if they feel the exact same. each seperate entry should feel unique in a franchise otherwise theres no point in having any more then 1 game.

i personally really like dying light 2 in its current state. its my favorite game in the franchise. im obviously not working for techland so they can do whatever they want with it but in terms of the mechanics you described its a "if it aint broke dont fix it" type of thing. the game is very fun and enjoyable how it is now.

I got why u laugh at behaviours like that and agree little bit. But u know, most of the people don't wanna spend bunch of time to gather that basic paper type items bcs of IRL stuffs. Sometimes grinding at games felts like daily Office job, at most of the region people don't have much time for it. Also they feel curious abt items too so collecting them with hints make sense for them. On the other hand, instead of addin Real Content like new expansions, game modes etc etc, they countinouesly give bundle and in game item tier rewards. Adicted players like us not have problem with them, but can understand casual players or addicted people who has exaggerated hopes Abt the future contents. Tbh these collectables like things cannot classified as a Real contet imo too. So skiping that and wanna better content is understandable. Personally I get used to it (What I mean what TL-tencent to do abt supporting the game)

because I'm nvidia user, i found that DLSS is cursing fps drop issues

It’s okay, cool bundle and the flashlight change is really nice. I’m also looking forward to the Crane skin but as for the event itself it’s alright. They sprinkle some GRE infected around the outbreak zones and you’ve got to kill them and find 10 collectibles. What is fun is finding 2 howlers and letting all the gre virals that spawn pile up and then fighting the horde

They’ll keep spawning as long as the howlers are alive

Oh and the revolver is nice, can’t go wrong with that

Best way to farm them is to let the howlers spawn virals and kill a bunch then loot em. You can run away from the area but don’t go to far and the bodies will despawn allowing you to loot faster

It’s alright, being able to fight hordes of virals is fun, I’m hoping the event evolves into something with more substance as the weeks go on. You can do everything in an hour and then your left with nothing again which is unfortunate.

It’s really unfortunate, back when I used to play it wasn’t so bad, don’t get me wrong there’s always been cheaters but damn it’s gotten so bad. I’ll accept distress signals and there will be level 1-2s using one shot weapons or people fully invisible, being able to just float straight up in the air it’s so annoying I leave immediately or kick them if they join me. If you want to do that stuff by all means it’s your own game but do it in solo, don’t play online doing that crap

Unfortunately the DL community is notorious for it, been horrible since DL1, so many people want to cheat or optimize the fun out of the games which I’ll never understand

Fr, I’ve had some really fun raids even with randoms, as long as everyone is on the same page it’s a lot of fun.

But sometimes you’ll run into speed runners or people who keep going down every second and it can get frustrating.
