DL1 is a great game especially for its time but for me DL2 is the game I keep coming back to , hell I’ll probably always play it. There’s just so much to do and such a big world it’s great. The Beast is also great it’s just a smaller game and doesn’t have as much post Launch content yet since its still relatively new

Depends what is ur expectation on the game. Rushing the map with that kinda useful, yeah but. But as I said, it decreases the thrilling vibe which already made meaningless by dispropotionated/non balanced damage deal metrics/ strings in files. Also it's good for variety of parkour, but that's also spamable as well. So most of the players which realize it's op, use that non stoply and that makes their abilities dull as well. But that's personal opinion, u know. Ah btw bunch of people who use/spam that skill, thoughts they are pro parkour player lmfao

Either use the key to open one of the doors or check the top and push it open. If it’s at a GRE anomaly you’ll have to go back at night and defeat it before you’ll be able to get what’s inside

Farming volatiles for money and valuables to sell, pick up all the weapons and armor you find to sell or break down for resources, loot human enemies they always drop a good amount of money as well.

i guess i spent money on nothing (scarecrow bundle) cause random brawler set i rolled from Sola feels much nicer (almost 60% 1h damage and 33% immunity against infected and 35% against human, while scarecrow is just 66% against infected and thats it)

Mehhh I would not buy anything from the store if I were you. Also they’re fixed stats mostly. Tank armor can provide the best if you can find them that is but very tedious of a process to do so lol

Brawler is easy to obtain of course. Decent protection asides gloves losing overall gear value but it’s alright. Better than medic and ranger for close combat

Just because it has bundles doesn’t mean they’re automatically bad guys for it. I’ve bought many bundles and I’m not the only one. I probably wouldn’t have gotten the Hakon skin had they not made it into a bundle and because of that bundle I’ve put many more hours into the game than I normally would have.

They’re not perfect, some of them lock unique features behind a paywall which I don’t like but for the most part they’re purely cosmetic. I wish The Beast had bundles as well, I like having unique cosmetics that not everyone will have I’m not trynna look like everyone else while I play co op

I handed over the VNC Tower to Frank. Why did I choose to help Frank instead of chasing the van (when Frank was hit by the poisoned arrow), but the game forced me to chase it? Was it because I made the wrong choice by giving the medicine to Aitor, which led to Margaret being hanged to death by PK? In the Black Widow quest I chose to help the widow, simply because the medicine she kept wasn’t poison (Baba confirmed it). The three men who died before probably overdosed on energy boosters, that’s why they died :D. I was only really interested in the book-finding quest and the one-night stand with Thalia, plus the letter delivery quest helping Derek return to the Guild instead of taking the reward. Those two side quests are the brightest highlights in the game for me. Dying Light 1 is the best, while Dying Light 2 & The Beast are bad products

In fact I loved the sound quality of my cheap pair the only reason I got new ones was the mic was very fuzzy and echoed and I didn’t want to bother people when I used it. I hardly ever use my mic especially on DL2 but sometimes people will ask things that I can’t just jump or crouch to answer so I’ll use it for a second so having a better mic is good for that

That’s true but I just wish most of them weren’t tied as micro-transaction DLC to begin with personally even though some are now earnable after the fact. The first game you can earn skins free naturally through its legend levels. The Beast may unfortunately do the same.

I like bundles and it’s good for people like me who want to distinguish themselves from others. The nocturnal outfit is a good example of that, everyone has it so it’s no longer unique and I don’t use it because of that. I don’t need to look cooler than anyone else I just want to be different so I can immerse myself. DL2 bundles are cheap and offer good stuff in them which it’s mostly cosmetic and the items are mainly reskins of what already exists. There are some items like charms and the fire and aura things that give you gameplay advantages which I don’t like. I love bundles but they should be purely cosmetic, weapons are fine as long as they’re just reskins of what already exists. If everything was able to be earned everyone would have the same stuff

And bundles also incentivize Techland to keep working on the game because they’re constantly making money on them. It’s partly why they’ve continued to update DL2, that’s not the only reason of course

Exclusivity I am not disagreeing with. I would love to be different model wise surely too. But it still rubs me the wrong way anyhow. Not everyone would pick the same character from my experience in the first. I see people usually picking Rais, Tahir, or the free agent skins often so I am just loving it purely.

I get Techland needs money but I stopped buying anything from them since DL2 is not a good place rn cause of no content whatsoever dooming its last year of support until I see anything positive from the anniversary. I am not holding any hopes atm lol

It was also the next step for the parkour in general, it made climbing feel satisfying, high risk high reward climbs that made you think before trying to scale something.

Either way I had triple doors that blocked me from entering in three places. On the roof, the volatile tyrant got stuck in the rooms at the roof, and the doors are only opening after killing said volatile tyrant. We killed it after like 20 mins of luring him close to walls to hit him

For some reason you can kill your teammates with guns, arrows and throwables on the beast. I get it’s more realistic but it’s annoying getting hit by 1 single pellet from a shotgun blast and going down. Friendly fire is not a good idea not sure who green lit that. The DL games get chaotic so having it just limits the fun

Oh yeah I've faced a weird tower bug where on the second floor I think, when we connect the wire to one of the doors to open it, the door gets bugged and doesn't open
