Hard to find the right word for it but I wish decapitating enemies was smoother in DL2 similar to how it is in The Beast, I’m trying to do the pilgrim outpost weekly challenge and I’m slowly getting there but it’d be a lot faster if the heads came off properly. I’m constantly giving them the neck wound and the head wound it’s like every other 2 infected the head will come off even though my aim is perfect.

the more you do the story, the more challenges you have access to, complete those challenges to get to skullface's level. but essentially yes.

Yeah that’s what I’m currently using, it’s sped the process up a bit thankfully, it’s not a real complaint. I have a whole week to finish it and it’ll get done naturally but it would be nice to slice their heads and it come off correctly.

im not mad lmao, just asking. get a better cooler for like 20-40 bucks. dust the pc, reconfigure the fans, repaste. newer cpus in general, especially ryzen, are meant to handle hot load. once it gets to 90+C thats when it starts to thermal throttle. but 70+C temperatures are fixable and fine. dl2 is just a cpu demanding game in general. but its not poorly optimized. its not amazing but take a look at the specs lol, it doesnt take a super computer to get decent frames with high graphics.

You’ve gotta talk to the carrier once you get to the central loop or he’ll eventually disappear locking you out of the quest line. I can’t remember if Sola ever goes away or not at the PK fortress

The only 2 challenges I had trouble with were the DLC challenges where you had to kill 20 downers in time and collect all the crystals fast enough but fortunately there’s good videos on how to do it easily. As for the drowners challenge it can’t be done normally, they don’t spawn in fast enough forcing you to get on the fence to shoot some as they spawn

NG+ -> New Game + meaning U don't start a new save u start it from the save u completed the main story playthrough. And u get to keep everything u got in the previous playthrough. The only thing that resets to the beginning is the map and story progression

Do you use guns often? To me I like the medieval vibe the game has going for it and I don’t like virals raining down on me every shot so I avoid them 😅
That’s why the silenced pistol has come in handy, I imagine the suppressed Rifle is the same way. Thought about buying the bundle but it’s hard to justify a $16 bundle for a gun. I know it comes with more but the base gun is the only thing I’d use out of it

It’s pretty unfortunate, especially when I was younger I fell into the FOMO traps all the time, hell DL is one of the few games I still get that from but since I started DL2 a few years late it never really bothered me that I missed stuff. I know one thing for sure though, im not missing out on any of the Beast content and so far I have everything the game has to offer including pre order bonuses. And since starting DL2 I haven’t missed much. I’ve missed a couple things while being glued to the beast but that’s about it

Something id like to see them add is the ability to see other players flashlights like you can on The Beast, also in photo mode on The Beast your flashlight turns off for some reason I wish it didn’t

It’d be good to see other players flashlight so you can tell what they’re looking at an if they are attracting the attention of enemies

Kinda funny how many players will shine their flashlight directly at infected and human enemies when trying to stealth and they get surprised they get spotted 😅

Out of context I'm just curious abt the future bundles of DLTB. They promised for no micro transaction nor in game store. But I never trust to tencent abt keeping promises.

I doubt they’ll add bundles which is a good thing but also a bad thing, having bundles keep money flowing and incentivizes Techland to do more for the game and it allows players to get items they wouldn’t be able to otherwise. For example they released the nocturnal outfit and absolutely everyone is wearing it so nobody is unique nor is it rare. As time goes on sure the people new to the game won’t have it but still, I like how DL2 has character skins that way I can at least look like someone else while playing co op I hate playing as clones it kills my immersion. Not everyone cares though that’s just a me thing.

Personally? I’d like the game to have bundles, but ultimately I don’t mind it not having them either I just hope it doesn’t affect how much time and effort they put into the game.

I think DL2 bundles are done really well overall, they’re not super expensive either

I completely understand bundles are for everyone but a lot of people like them, and Techlands are on the cheaper side as well, plus you get a decent amount of stuff for your money. I guess time will tell, I think they’re going to focus on DL2 mainly to try and finish up whatever they have planned for the last year of support and then go all in on The Beast, I can see them working on both at the same time but focused more on DL2 in the meantime
