What I don’t like about the dlc is once you start the quest for it all the NPCs will constantly mention it completely overwrites a lot of their dialogue. Wouldn’t be so bad if it didn’t happen so much but damn seems like everyone and their mama is talking about it. That’s unfortunate tho bro I hope you can figure out a way to get it back I can’t even imagine all the loot an time spent being gone.

The entire first pilgrim bundle is good, the armor stats can carry you to end game, it's the perfect bundle to have for starting new save files... And having a blunt weapon is great for nightmare for the more instances of finishing moves and the stamina regen burst it gives when you do a finisher.

But I haven't played in a long time, I heard they stupidly removed stamina being a thing.

Maybe for you, DL is one of my favorite series. And The Beast and DL2 are very different graphically, mechanically, story, and location. I decided I’d go back and help people but also finish up my current playthrough. Then I’m gonna go back to DL1 and do the same thing.

I wish the wrench shiv came in a higher rarity than epic, it’s my favorite knife to use. My best knife is the exotic grim steel dagger. I also enjoy using the Hydra knife you can get off pilgrim outpost but I haven’t found that in exotic either so I’m usually forced to use the grim steel which it’s not bad its just not my favorite looking knife.

Hell it took me many hours are farming Renegade crates to even find the wrench shiv 😅
I mainly use it in co op when I join Lower leveled players since its damage is so low. Even with my LL skills and armor it’s only at 391 with the base damage being 155

So it’s not terrible.

I just recently got the board stick in Artifact rarity, which sounds dumb but I love using the everyday house hold items. Makes the game feel more like a survival game where you gotta use what you can find

4 player co op is so obnoxious sometimes I can’t stand it 🫠
It’s fun for tower raid and if the people your playing with are your friends but when it’s randoms it’s just chaotic and not fun at all especially for someone like me who likes to take their time and immerse themselves. When people are bouncing off the walls, teleporting each other around, blasting through stealth sections, skipping cutscenes on their first playthrough, throwing explosives and Mollys at each others feet and drives me insane and I know I’m not the only one 😅

For me, 2 players is best. Sometimes 3 is fine depending on who the 3rd is

Homerun is a legit bat in any case. It used to be a rare drop from bolters in Villador, but now only from bolters in the Bozak Horde easter egg mission

There is a "glitched" variant of Homerun, tho, its is called Rooftop Party. "Glitched" coz devs refuse to patch it as they did with some other similar weapons, and it can be obtained in totaly legit way but only once per playthrough.

It is a meh katana tho. If u are low on mutagen samples, look around the map for Hag traces spawns, loot the traces and the renegades that guard it, especially the Plaguebearers and if the Hag spawns, loot her as well. Hag and hag traces give around 200-300 mutagen samples and Plaguebearers cca 50 ish of those

Also farming Volatiles, Hives, Tyrants and Demolishers is a good way to stack up on mutagen samples

I played DL2 about 8 months after release, and when I played it the game was in a really good state and only got better as time went on. The game was riddled with issues in the beginning but they quickly worked towards fixing it. That’s not to say the game is perfect now because it’s not but it’s genuinely a great experience. I’d play DL2 over DL1 any day of the week.

those slots are shared between arrows, bolts and ammo

so you have to put things you dont want in your stash or drop them in order to craft new bolts

actually to escape that bed w/o leave the game, here's how to but it's pretty hard to do

• after wake up and your foot is touched the floor, press s to walk back while don't move your mouse "you have 8 sec average to do it or you'll be softlocked, you can retry by look left-right and look at bed while spamming use button"
• if you're success, you'll slightly slide to right-side
• then turn your mouse and look at UV light, then tap sit (then jump if necessary) button, but there's a chance to get yourself softlock

The korek charm used to restore durability so you could keep crafting it an dismantling it to repair your weapons. But they patched that and made weapons repairable at craftsman. I like how The Beast does repairs better though you can do it anytime out of your weapon wheel or inventory but it has limited repairs

the more time they spend on it the better, DL2 took 7 years after the first game came out. The longer they spend making the game the higher quality it will be.

Unfortunately Techland came out and said they’re aiming to do smaller games like The Beast, so instead of getting big games like DL2 every 5+ years we may just get standalone’s every 2-3 years. It worked great for the beast but I don’t want every game to be like that.

That’s a really good charm, don’t think I’ve seen that before. 10% chance to have UV activation and +25% chance of dealing crit is really good especially if you run mods
