Yeah definitely grab one of each element even it being not upgraded works since it’s better for bounties vs praying to RNG to get a weapon with an element before it breaks. That’s why did elite raid so I had more of a chance to get a weapon to do it and the leveling up for XP for sola and Jai went higher each floor which sped it up. Same with tokens and such. You get a lot in elite and it’s worth it.

I mean it is but the map is just boringly copy pasted 1 was too but it was leveled decently with ups and downs. As for the beast I liked the amount of stuff on the roof that made it feel a lot more alive and detailed besides running flat roofs just to jump to another roof like the same. Still enjoy it. Depending on the strategy it can be easier because they have less health but I usually play with a group.

I cannot dodge and parry more than 10-15 infected at once otherwise I just get overwhelmed.

Ah, so like a regular rogue-like you can either play with other people in co-op who sweat the mode or you can just do those bounties and get some points for upgrades.

Completing floors and looting that chest next to the elevator also gives tokens

I don't think the game even expects you to get it first try but you got that far on hard without upgrades so that ain't bad
