After updating Dying Light 2 on the Epic Games Launcher today, my old progress is completely gone (I lost about [Insert Estimated Hours] hours of gameplay). The game is only giving me the option to start a New Game.
​What I have tried:
​Restarting the game and PC.
​Verifying game files.
​Checking the save and backup folders (Documents/dying light 2/out/storage).
​Has anyone else on Epic Games run into this issue and found a fix? Any insight or a specific workaround for recovering saves after this update would be highly appreciated!
