to be honest, i myself feel its a bug. i did have this very same problem and i end up fighting against him over half an hour. little by little. Avoiding attacks since 3 hits kills you. If you get stuck, its over, too greedy to deal punches its game over. i needed to be very careful and everytime my healt rised back, i attacked 2-3 hits max. sometimes he get stuck at wall and you can punch more times, but be aware of his charge when it starts. Also take healing time on top of object where cant reach you. this is all advice i can give. i cant remember what difficuly i played, but on youtube video hes been defeated few punches wtf.

You are forgetting to mention that dl2 has better parkour, better naturally flowing parkour routes, arguably better combat now after the updates, better build variety, better grind, better endgame, better visuals, and nightmare mode which personally I feel is actually more challenging than dl1 especially at night.

Dl1 excels in some areas yes but lets not disregard the clear advantages dl2 has over dl1. I don't really feel like the story has ever been a massive hit even in dl1. The Beast currently has the best narrative despite being a more linear focused one.

Why not just play all of them instead of trying to rile people up for no reason? They are all good in other ways than the others. Lol

Dl2 after they fixed the game is a completely upgraded version and blows out dltb and stands with its father(dl1) but it’s the upgraded son

Gaining more than 100 hours on any game and still having content to do or just play because of enjoyability is completely worth it

On the other hand dying light the beast is 90 cad and u can barely muster 30-40 hours which is after story and side quests

And industrial plant has little to no parkour opportunities

Dl2 had fixing but that’s because it needed it and after fixes objectively and factually speaking it’s almost if not surpassed dl1

However dltb doesn’t have much to fix

People love the colours
People love the atmosphere
People love its handcrafted (imo Is good but literally every safe zone is the same just like dl2)
People love the parkour
People like the story
People like the combat

Now compared to a game which was amazingly fixed after having one of the worst starts in gaming history

Colours can be tuned to ur liking with the modes they provide
The atmosphere is amazingly done whether or not it’s someone’s preference has no meaning what matters is if it’s objectively well done which it is
While it does have copy pasta
And while it’s not 100% handcrafted and that’s okay bc after fixes they added many details major and minor to makeup for the mistake of copy pasta
The story while it does stray from the main objective which is to find ur sister it still tells the lore of old villedor and the central loop really well and the faction thing was a niche add some like it and some for absolutely no reason whatsoever didn’t like it even tho it has no affect on them to not care and it can be ignored completely

The chases were fulfilling had u played on nightmare mode
