The two most powerful characters were Pirate and Van Aiden

With the full release of tower raid they nerfed Pirate (now Breach) into the dirt

But just, didn't do anything to van aiden (now Dusk)
The only noticeable nerf that Van Aiden got was that aberrations have some insane firearm resistance to the point the only gun worth bringing to the rooftop would be the spitfire shotgun

If anything van aiden got buffed because on top of all the usual ranged damage multipliers I can get both levels of Tank Buster

Omg, someone's been checking out the changes made to the prologue and I'm actually pissed.
"Saw sth about them having cut a bunch of stuff from the prologue and tutorial, so did a quick replay to check, and oh boy.

All the extra broadcasts that you could check out at the radio station have been cut. Aiden automatically checks only the one channel now, both the night before and in the morning.
Not super familiar with the prologue, but pretty sure they cut things from the conversation with Spike at the house, too.

Way more familiar with things once you enter Villedor.
Initial lynching scene is now VERY short, they no longer have their weird and needlessly sadistic 'he hasn't fully turned yet but we're gonna slowly torture him to death anyway bc people from the Bazaar are fucking psychos' lines. Nothing about a rope, just a nice black screen for like 10 full seconds.
Hakon no longer has his Establishing Character Moment where he makes that A+ shot at the rope from all the way across the room, it looks as if Aiden just falls to the floor and Hakon picks him up now.

Initial part of the scene in the hideout completely cut.
'Jana, get the inhibitors' and fade to black. no Aiden turning and almost attacking one of the women, no bat to the face.
When he wakes back up the scene seems mostly untouched again. and they left the 'the bat helped too, of course' line in even though that makes zero sense now, as expected of Techland
Dialogue choices cut. 'Where'd you get all those?' automatic 'None of your business' cool tx I love having zero agency.

Woah ya’ll fr got rid of the best part of the game, more realistic parkour? So what we’re now mr unlimited stamina who can hold onto a ledge for hours on end just fine?

Honestly lets face it they abandoned this game despite saying they didn’t. They don’t really fix anything anymore. The only content updates we get anymore is just something to remove more of the game’s unique identity, new features that don’t even work and they don’t fix, and to add more content to a game mode barely anyone is gonna play.

They turned the biggest content update for the game into a standalone game thats just stuffed with nostalgia bait now, not even related to dying light 2 whatsoever. Even if it’s a good game it doesn’t change the fact that they harp on “Kyles back” so much I can’t trust them. The devs claiming they didn’t abandon dying light 2 is the biggest load of malarkey I’ve ever heard.

Like I get they’re working on a game and so they’re distracted with that. But the least they can do is finish the first game they made before making a new one.

I managed to get to the final floor solo first try as the toxbreaker dude, It was pretty challenging just makes it more obvious that techland needs to actually improve the combat interactions further cause theres obvious "Wtf how did I get hit" or chargers that dont stop charging
