it's the directional shift, the art style, the aesthetics sudden change and many things that are smaller such as the greenery, the poor gore, the insane amount of safe zones, the uncharismatic factions and characters you don't care about.

Because it didn't work, so many bugs, glitches and performance problems at launch. My first save file was corrupted lol.
The ending was a black screen with some text on it, volatiles didn't exist outside lvl 3 chase, and did I mention how broken the game was at launch?
DL2 turned alot of players away and that's not even mentioning the subjectively worse narrative and characters compared to DL1.

I know some have complained of atmosphere when it came to DL2 and I fully agree. The first DL had full on atmosphere. Ra dom rainstorms, people scared and hunkered down in the tower. Hell even the soundtrack was amazing. The first 25 minutes of DL2 seemed promising because you were alone, the world had gone to shit and it was all about survival....then you hit the city....ungh. I'm hoping that Beast recaptures the atmosphere, the induced anxiety from leaving a safe house, the loneliness and isolation, and top notch ass kicking from DL1.

Been playing Dying Light 2 and really liking it. Really kicking myself though as I gave the first electrical station to the PK without realising how much it affects the story. there are no real big consequences in the game when you side with either pk's or survivors apart from the tools that you get from each, the ending depends on if ||you give Jack Matt access to the dam or not|| regardless of who you gave the substations to

one of the other big choices earlier is whether you side with || Jack Matt or Juan||

I think it's weird that Aiden assumes his sister is still alive and no one seems to question that. I would think half the NPCs would be telling him to give up on her because she's probably dead. || Then when he finally finds her, he sees a nearly-dead body with a shaved head and is able to recognize her at a glance (after ~10 years when she was a kid last time he saw her). ||

It also makes no sense to me why || they can't both disable the weapons and try to save his sister. ||

Yeah that's all normal mate. Also yeah, every district has a lvl attached to it, higher the lvl, the more difficult the infected and humans will be. If you are finding yourself under level find GRE inhabitator crates and also lvl up your skills.

A good farming spot early game is the Metro next to the Bazaar.
