I looked for a Dying Light community primarily to ask this question:
I've been playing Dying Light 2, recently on the anomalies side quests with Fatin and Tolga. But some parts of this questline get really frustrating and annoying, so I want to quit them and do other quests for a while. But I'm stuck in an anomaly place with floating pieces of road and I keep falling, and the game keeps spawning me inside the quest area. How do I get out without finishing the quest? (I'm on xbox)

(The main annoying thing with these quests is the spectral goggles that let you see the blue lights which mark the anomalies, but while wearing the goggles, you can hardly see anything else. You have to either switch headgear constantly or go around mostly blind.)

the mistake that you're making is that you're jumping in the wrong locations, you need to run jump when the floating things are low or near enough

i spent hours doing it in the wrong location before i realised that i needed to go the other direction

Yea, like @onyx wadi said, and keep checking for places os "easy" access, run to the max cornerpixel u can, I did it with a friend and we were dying all the time, to the point of "im gonna get it done yes or yes". We all know where u are stuck and I think almost all of us can tell you, just try it again, you only need to get it done it once
Also, the googles are only rly needed to find the anomalies, but in the anomaly world you can just take them off.

Imo stamina meter damage is one of the most op things you can have as an affix. Against tougher enemies like Volatiles or goons it won't do anything but a vast majority of the enemies in the game can be stunned which means invincibility frames + regaining stamina mid combat

Stamina Meter damage is primarily used for bandits (generalizing all enemy humans as bandits.) and biters/virals. It stuns them for a few seconds and if you go up to them and press the button marked on your screen you'll do an execution. during the execution you regain some stamina and become invincible throughout the entirety of the animation. It's really useful for group fights where you're surrounded and need breathing room

On higher difficulties and depending on your HUD settings it's an absolute must. I play with nearly all HUD off and on nightmare mode so I don't know what my stamina is at like at all. It's all pure guess work so regaining stamina is a much more useful thing to me.

Personally I haven't had any issues with human enemies blocking my knife attacks. As they block are you dodging behind them to try and get a hit in?

As for the armor I don't remember what weapons can be used to pierce armor but a lot of weapons go off the table with armored enemies

making executions easier would be a nice feature, if the stamina regen affix didnt exist

It's not the best thing in the world. Killing the enemy out right is certainly always better but invicibility frames and regaining stamina is always nice especially on nightmare mode

I agree with you but to be completely fair it is a chase you aren't exactly meant to be fighting them rather running (you can fight them I do the same thing but the intention is to be spooked and run so it's not gonna be stacked in your favor)

Especially at max chase level all zombie spawns are Tyrants (i think, maybe a couple normal volatiles and virals spawn too)

I mean yea I agree with that but it's easier in the second game by legions. Atleast in my experience, the best way to hunt volatiles is to spam UV flares and use a shotgun. I have sort've the same experiences when it comes to notorious buggy games. That was really the only major bug in my first playthrough of dl2 the rest was fine. One thing I can say is that it's interesting to see how they changed quests and dialogue throughout the years. I remember the carnage hall original intro lol

The only bug I encountered was when I was doing the Anomalies quest, for some reason it was daytime outside regardless if it was night or not. Just imagine volatiles chasing you during the day.

There is a peacekeeper combat challenge you can do for the gas tanks bounty. It's the one where you have a certain amount of time to kill infected. If you kill 100 of them you get gold. You just need to weaken them first with the car trap then use the tanks to finish them.

That’s typical for the gaming industry. Companies would rather delay a game than release it in poor shape, as was Cyberpunk 2077 in 2020.
