Dying Light NPCs have always been pretty goofy, even the first game suffers from this too

Which is understandable, it is monumentally difficult to make human characters that actually behave like you would expect them to in a massive open world with so many variables to consider

Games like The Last of Us bypass this by restricting the environment and situation their human enemies or allies are in to an unbelievable degree

It determines, tho, what district perks u get and what kind of settlements (pK or Survivors) will appear once u activate windmills in that district. Settlements will affect some side missions since those mission givers are located in that settlements PK or Survivors exclusive

With all districts assigned to Survivors, u can get PK ending and vice versa

I use the Shadow Executioner 9 bolts in mag semi-automatic with increased dmg on heavy enemies. Also, Anubis (semi-automatic but fast fire-rate, 7-bolt mag) is pretty good and deals additional damage to infected. First pilgrim crossbow (3-bolts mag full automatic) has an impact effect on normal bolts for close enemies, and it is an awesome weapon for slide parkour shots.
Hakon Crossbow Full automatic 4-Bolts mag, and it comes with fire bolts blueprint, but no special effect on normal bolts.
Pumpkin Spice executioner Semi-automatic 9-bolt mag no special effect
Still, the best one is the Hunter's crossbow coz its damage output scales down less with distance compared to other crossbows, but it uses special hollow bolts that can't be crafted. Those bolts u can purchase from Shen Xiu or by completing her regular mission, she will reward u with those, among other things. 6-bolts mag. semi-automatic

In TR u mod the weapon once TR starts. U need 45 scraps to place 1 mod on ure weapon. so, 1st farm scraps to mod the weapon
