in early game prioritize stamina that way u can reach locations that require higher stamina amount like windmills. Basically I do this:
-In Old Villedor b4 Lets Waltz main mission I invest in HP after i reach 300 stamina and upgrade HP to 300 or so
-In Central Loop First invest in stamina to 500 then invest in HP till 500
-After finding all first playtrough 126 inhibitors HP->500 Stamina->700
-After finding additional 30 ng+ inhibitors HP->700 Stamina->700

But for tank it's a different story you'll have to find gre crates elite crates military airdrops or gold random encounters

But the best ways you can get those artifact gears is shop stock reset in the fisheye and bazar

No, legendary levels do, and the items upgrade level increases the damage radius ... Plus your dying easier by them because of damage multipliers.

ive been getting killed outside the blast radiace, like even when there is no warning of an exposive near me type thing or through multiple walls, so i figured either im dumb or the game increases their range

Your just not getting far enough away,sometimes it won't show the warning when your on the edge of the radius, best to just keep moving away until it explodes.

Depends on your skill level and understanding of the mechanics of the tower.

Some perks can make raiding a lot easier but all in all it all boils down to if you know how to avoid/stun lock zombies. I recommend buying the molotov blueprint for a new player

I ended my first story playthrough on Nightmare difficulty. Took me about 140 hours.
Now ending second one on Easy (took about 10 hours).
