The server update was done together with the employees of Techland. Actually, it should have been done a long time ago, but"refreshed" closer to Dying Light The beast.
So... yeah. Of course we are hearing feedbacks and so on, but in my opinion, the server has not changed much, and it has become easier to navigate.

If u've done Veronica main mission then u can find 2 Banshees at the collapsed building site in Garrison near VNC tower. Also at night u can find Banshees on the rooftops mostly accompanied by suiciders. There is one location near Bazaar close to Cillian's home

rooftop banshees at night often in Houndfield, Trinity, Horseshoe, St. Paul Island and south Lower Dam Ayre (courtyard close to the water tower where The Baba IX mission takes place)

Completed Dying Light 1 for the first time during 10 anniversary event (low gravity /infinite grappling hook...) in Coop with one friend. We were playing on Nightmare difficulty. First 3 weeks was pretty amazing as we struggled to deal with most zombies. But unlocking guns with silencers and silver bullets made game extremely easy and pretty boring (unlocked player legend level 50).

Surprisingly for me playing Dying Light 2 on Nightmare difficulty (first playthrough) solo was a blast. That what exactly I was expecting from highest difficulty:

• no interface;
• survivesl vision don't highlight enemies;
• no health regen;
• can't sell items (so you always lack money for repairs and forsed to change weapons);
• you can't see your enemy health so has no idea how close you are to kill a Volatile (first kill was after unlocking guns).
  That was really epic adventure.

And now going to New Game + makes enemies even more stronger (so do as gear rewards) made Dying Light 2 alot more enjoyable for me.

I received a Tower Raid Legendary chest. Should I wait to level up my normal game character before opening it up?

• Lots of weapons scales up in damage every time you level up your character (for example spears scattered all over the world);
• first playthrough limit your gear only up to level 6. There is extremely limited places to acquire lvl 9 gear on first playthrough;
• Find lvl 9 weapons is extremely easy after unlocking character Legendary levels, as every legendary level grant you one chest with lvl 9 mele weapon;
• New Game + has more stronger enemies however it can drop level 7-9 equipment;
• Every time you install modification in to your weapon it add some damage AND increase durability;
• You can actually repair your melee weapons for money but it is VERY expensive and not designed to be affordable on first playthrough;
• Nightmare difficulty is extremely hard for new players as it basically disable lots of interface features, but grant you more loot quality;
• Playing Nightmare is extremely satisfying for hardcore players, but most definitely you will lack money to repair your melee weapons so it designed to force to change weapons every time it break (more like Dying Light 1);
• You can switch your game to Easy any time, it allow you to get extra money for selling stuff.

It's not that bad if you know the game, how things work... I played a fresh save on nightmare for about 10 hours just to see how it feels... Only issue is being broke, so your pretty much forced to use what weapons you can find, spend your resources upgrading weapon mods, instead of weapon blueprints.

Welp for example Psycho marksman rifle deal somewhere around 1400 damage per bullet (with legendary points invested in guns). And it's has automatic firing mode. It fire somewhere around 3 bullets per second.
While mele swing takes around 1.5 seconds, rifle deal around 9 shots.
Its equivalent 12600 damage 👀

Best bet - open inventory, equip twohanded gear, press on your long weapon once and enable advanced stats.
If you see gear bonus damage applied - it's definitely two handed.
