Agreed, and it's better with the parkour shot stun, and that ammo doesn't cost resources, the regular huntress missions are easy enough to not only earn tokens to buy bolts, but also getting free bolts for completion of huntress mission.

I just farm at night and roam around doing the events that pop up. The orange event bosses drop really good weapons. I’m not max level, but with stamina, damage, defense, and regen boosters it’s pretty easy and fast.

It can be applied an infinite amount of times.
It's one of the better charms if your playing on hard, it saves you money and resources making weapons last longer before needing repair.

The armor is good for a new save playthrough, to have decent gear starting out, but eventually you'll probably want to switch to a class armor set.
The crossbow is the same, starting out having one but then later switching to hunters crossbow.

If a dark hollow has a hive in it, there will be a volatile tyrant encounter sign showing up on your compass (so you don’t need to go inside and check). What I do is gliding around in old villador checking every dark hollows, and waiting for the encounter to pop up.

I may be wrong but I’m pretty sure rank won’t affect it (or at the least, it’ll scale with you). The stats for outpost armour should be static so they’ll be the same regardless if you got it at rank 6 or rank 9. But personally, I think the pilgrim set is the better set if you’re looking at the stats. (But it’ll run you more tokens).

Can also do a scooting back and forth paraglider between two buildings with the red siding you can hang on, with a chase going it's pretty safe and you get fairly consistent, easy xp. Otherwise just playing is the best you can do

If you're a nervous gamer (no judgement, I definitely am lol) you can also farm trophies outside the first main settlement, and max level your throwing knives. They then kill volatiles in 1-2 knives on easy/normal, which takes a lot of the stress out of some story points

find yourself a 2h weapon with stamina regen on quick attack and don't put empowerment on it,it will be lighter and you can swing it almost as 1h weapon.

im at -70% stamina cost and 50ish% stamina regen for single handed right now but i can drop it down to 30ish% stamina regen for 1 handed but -80% stamina cost

been playing nightmare mode on nights for a while, 1 handed gear and weapons carry me lmfao, but my 2 handed build is mainly good for medium or hard difficulty if im careful

For me, 60-70 stamina on gear is enough when I use 2h bat with stamina regen. I never run out of stamina.
