Normal and Elite Raids only. You get them mainly from the bonus loot room. Normal or Higher. Didn't get shotguns on Easy. Doesn't seem to give shotguns and stuff on Quick. I find it better if you just max your starter weapon and use that instead. I use the scrapjaw class with max starter weapon, Molotovs and Regen Boosters. I also use Toughness and Melee boosters on Hard/Nightmare and on Rooftops. The system is designed go allow you to solo basically anything in specific points. You cannot solo anything for the first 1-2 runs tho. Then you slowly get stronger and stronger and after about 50 runs, you can solo Elite Niightmare and get 12k tokens every 1.5 to 2 hours. If you play Elite Nightmare and you get the booster modifier at any point past the 8th floor, just reset. You stand no chance. Especially on the roof

No. Just upgrade the standard one. Focus on 1 weapon, then toughness booster, then melee booster, than molotovs. The rest is done as you continue getting perks and stuff. Focus on 1 or 2 classes. Bane and Scrapjaw are the best. Damage resistance and health perks are a must. Must the halved stamina cost and 160% bonus damage to volatiles, demolishers and revenants. Makes Hard and Nightmare runs less of a drag. The rest is more situational. Pick your poison.
