Well good. That's the natural progression of games, especially RPGs or ones with light RPG elements. Start off hard and then get easier
Also DL1 getting easier doesn't anything to do with the ambience. You can still get jumpscared if you're just sneaking about instead of going out with the sole purpose of killing volatiles

You have entities in the far distance load up with their models but no AI, like renegades let's say. You can see zombies literally walking AROUND them, doing nothing. The moment you go within a specific distance, it triggers the AI to "activate" and they start fighting

This shit is held together by glue, hopes and dreams. Really hope The Beast has better AI, but doubt it

I think it's not an engine problem but a human one. Someone setting the navmeshes didn't do it well, which leads to bad pathing issues which is another AI problem. I think the same thing probably applies to that AI activation issue I talked above

The hardest raid I've solo played only had 2 aberrations on the roof and none on the lower floors,
me and 1 other guy completed the 2 abberation and charger rooftop and the 1 aberration half way up on elite raid

So it should be possible to do solo, molotovs are a must though

I was using the tanky 2 handed class but still got knocked around and sent flying, I'm just amazed me and 1 other person beat the elite tower in 70 minutes, molotov pretty much stopped every non special infected, and guns cleared the rest on the roof

Though I will say if you get any debuff on the final floor it's a hard nope...we got lucky with the fact the debuff buffed us.....but everything 1 tapped us, you got hit once and you were downed immediately

The doom shotgun isnt a blueprint

If it was, that would be too broken

One shotting everything with 2000 ammo

What techland should do is make the easter egg challenge items a blueprint but weaken them to make them balanced

The broom can use the same amount of stamina as the paraglider but fly slightly slower because you can go up
