Best tip I could give is being the toxin guy, and get that skill where you deal 45-90% more damage when at a higher health than 90%.

You should one shot all regular enemies with that, and then just prioritize upgrading your weapon in the lobby with those tower points.

Just from personal experience in DL2, two handed weapons are really bad until later on when you can mitigate their insane stamina cost.

From my experience, skill doesn't have much of a play in it, unless you've basically mastered the combat. If you get a bad modifier, a bad room, or god forbid both, then 9 times out of 10 it's a run ender. I'm sure some player better than I could manage it with ease, but soloing tower raid shouldn't require immense skill to bridge the gap created by rng.

Combat exp, just kill volatiles at night. Agility exp, equip a full medical set with parkour exp boosts, then find a good spot with far jump capable of being done on both sides. Trigger a chase, then just keep doing those far jumps; you'll rack up exp insanely fast.

Additional tip for parkour exp, if you've racked up a bunch of night time bonus exp, go to sleep. Your bonus parkour exp percentage will apply to whatever amount you got from the night. I.E. 1000 exp from night, 30% parkour exp boost from armor, culminating to 1300 extra exp after sleeping.

and yeah because the red dot is inside the model it casts a shadow

because the game creates a fake shadow to the side to simulate shadows which is a very cheap way to cast shadows

Volatiles are allowed to do that much damage,they swing slow and easy to dodge and predict their attacks, while biters on the other hand shouldn't do that much damage, it's unnecessary.
