You can if you stay on the run, killing and running and being careful not to cross over your mines that drop. However, inside buildings it’s impossible. I was doing a building run and made it down 2 floors. Got rushed by 2 volatiles, killed the first one and it dropped a mine, blew up in my face and killed me before I could react.
