I think they should just do exactly what they already did with Harper and Shen Xius missions; the standard mission you bring your own inventory and get some decent rewards, the elite mission has a set loadout but better rewards

The problem with TR right now is that the only incentive for doing the Elite Raid is more Baka rep but you already get a shit ton from the normal one. If they gave a higher tier chest with exotic weapons or more craft parts, that would make people run it

I'm still not crazy about the disconnect between the tower raid and the main game, but I get there was some extreme cheese during the beta with UV spam and modded weapons/etc. I feel like splitting loadouts between normal and elite is the happy medium

Beta TR was the best spot to farm military medkits tho, gonna miss that

Well of course, that's the purpose of repeatable content. The challenge isn't a challenge anymore once you've completed it, but this is being built out as a modular tower with multiple variations of floors and enemies so you're meant to run through it multiple times. There has to be a compelling reason to do it beyond just seeing everything cause once you've seen and done it all, that's that.
That's why I'm not sure the class system is the best move

Need more to do with our endgame characters that we've grinded out, not less

If you play with your best OP Build, of course it's no challenge. As an endgame player, I think differently. I didn't use boosters or uv bars in the first beta. and uses low damage weapons for more challenge. I do the same in the open world.

I was talking about the current Tower Raid. I also didn't use glitched weapons or UV bars in the beta, but that doesn't matter. For many players, the power fantasy of being OP once you earn it is half the point. Too many devs try to fight that instead of just giving people what they want and I think that's a bad decision.

The first DLC Bloody Ties is basically a bigger Bozak Horde with an actual story

It's all based around a challenge arena

And that's coming from someone who actually likes the DL2 story and thinks too many people are way too exaggerative with their criticisms lol

8/10 times when someone is shitting on the DL2 story they expose that they didn't pay attention or didn't understand certain stuff. It's not a god-tier story by any means and there's some issues from the story cuts for sure (mostly that the Old Villedor Survivors vs. PK story basically doesn't matter after you're past the first 3rd of the game) but the Waltz/GRE/Mia/Renegades/PK History story stuff is actually pretty good IMO

But it'll point your board down afterwards, hurtling you downwards

So if you hit an air vent and even out your board, you can glide for a while

Well tbh anything not at least artifact I dismantle now, as for chest stuff I keepfour of each kind and go santaing to random low level players to get rid of things but dismantle the rest, just keep anything artifact, legendary or exotic
