For me the only changes I’d want is better game optimization. Like this event has highlighted everything I hate about the game. I should not be getting stuck on top of zombies this damn often.

And the devs obsession around messing with people’s vision needs to be dropped. I should be able to experience the rain without it hurting my eyes and I rage boosters should not be giving me a headache. This is the game BIGGEST flaws imo. The best booster is useless to me because it gives me such a massive headache. Give us an option to turn it off it’s been years since release.

Honestly I hated everything about dying light 2 when it released but I was fully comparing it to DL1. I was so annoyed angry and bitter about it, I probably would’ve got a refund if Sony allowed it.

But after like 3 years I finally decided to take the game how it is and stop comparing. Can’t say I like it. But it’s a game i guess.

The combat was way better in Dead Island 2 and I enjoyed some of the quest and side quests over DL2.

I still like dying light 2 more but coop experience has been pretty bad for my friends and I and hope they learn from the complaints.

Ok so each character should be played a certain way unless you’re using a glitch.

Plague is easy, you destroy everything easily and use rage booster when you’re about to get surrounded you literally can not die.

Scarecrow is a tank, you play him like you would a tank. Use block when you need to since you literally can not take damage while blocking and use Molotovs on yourself if you get surrounded, also has regen boosters handy.

Pirate you literally have a grappling hook and the map is buggy as hell, just grapple up where they can’t reach you and blow them up. He has the highest damage of all characters.
