You can use the nocturnal weapons in the daytime it won’t drain your immunity unless you go into a foresaken store, dark hollow or gre buildings

There’re a rare chance to get from killing golden encounters at night and volatiles which is very rare btw they can drop it it’s just very rare I had it happen a couple times

The ones from volatiles are usually unique tier if I’m not mistaken

Oh you can loot the decapitated heads of bombers if you kick it upside down btw

And here’s a tip starscape, becarful when you use the nocturnal weapons. Some drain your immunity when taking or dealing DMG and some can have that 10% immunity drain

also find places where uv lights are, not in safe zone, so you can recharge immunity and keep fighting enemies, but dont stay long or the will end

Both games have parts that stand out, For DL1 its easily the atmosphere, the feel of dread and being trapped.
Still one of my favourite things to do is go to the top of the tower at night and just listen to the city and seeing the areas off in the distance being unaffected by the virus just sets an amazing tone for me.
DL1 definitely looks better graphics wise and the ai of the zombies is much better (Them being dumb zombies that tries too climb and stumble everywhere).
DL2 has the better parkour feel and combat for me.
I want to say I like the setting of DL2 more but what's holding it back is the flat feeling of the world, the repeat of interiors and the lack of unique landmarks, Harran was just so well designed, especially the Slums.
But all in all I have put probably more hours into DL2 and will continue to do so, the gameplay is just so addicting for me.

On top of the building is a crane and usually a volatile, start a chase with the volatile and get on the crane. The volatile will just spit at you which you can block, and in the bandit oupost volatiles will spawn, but die due to the uv lights inside the building

Just wait how much you want, then get down, get inside the building, jump over the stair case on the left, and you should see bodies of vollatiles or packages which will give you large trophies
