Really comes down to what type of mod you want also cause you have mods that activate on critical hits and mods that need to be built up with a meter

I prefer crit activate mods tho

Personally, for the first faction choice, I went with with the PK cause they left a better first impression, and then the rest of the game, I went with survivors

PKs are more on the ground fighters like me

Region control affects region perks and what side quests u gonna get. PK settlements vs Survivors settlements -> PK quest givers vs Survivors quest givers although there are side quests that aren't affected by settlement type like "Infected Intelligence Quiz". Also Region control affect the location of some collectibles. Region control doesn't affect the ending. That is affected only by your choices in main game missions (except for "Aitor" quest choices that can affect the ending)

So if u are a completion driven player then u gonna need additional minimum 2 NG+ to cover all main scenarios and get all in game collectible blueprints . That also means going full survivors or full PK in NG+ if u did the opposite in 1st play-trough

Forgot this: If u go full PK then all vendors and craft-masters will have resources for sale but if u go full Survivors then some hub vendors wont offer you resources and only craft masters will, that is in Survivors controlled hubs

Advice, find a choke point you can escape from, make noise to draw them in then farm their butt's. Works for farming volatiles too.

You gotta do the lost armory side mission to get your first gun, that'll then give you bounties to unlock more guns and lovely weapons and gear including guns
