No need, I'm bit afraid of going into CO-OP. It's how I lost my progression. I joined a CO-OP to play with new players back in year 1 of the game. One of those lobbies, I disconnected and my progression was overwritten to that of the new player story wise.

If techland want to keep this game alive, then they need to add to what already exists in the game and make general improvements and enhancements to the game

While yes, Dying Light 2 does have better human combat than Dying Light 1, it still falls flat honestly, all the humans of the same class, mainly melee, feel the exact same, they have the same attack patterns, practically same VA, as well as the way they react to being hit is not good, also it'd be neat if they would also use the environment to their advantage, like throwing a knife at a propane tank near you or even grabbing it, igniting it, and throwing it at you, as well as also use the bricks and bottles to their advantage

Improvements to Human Combat: make it where humans of the same class have variety, no 2 humans act the same exact way, one enemy hits faster, one hits slower, having different animations based on personality, more VAs for human enemies, also bandits are more clumsy, swinging slower and using weaker weapons.

In terms of health, make it to where they act differently based on their health, animations of them limping or weak when on low health, voice lines when they're near death and even giving up and trying to run away (I know its in the game but its only for the last renegade alive). They feel so bland in dl2, barely reacting to being hit, also, it'd be awesome if they could lose limbs while still being alive, if they lost a limb then they would either try running away or lay on the ground in pain, both resulting in bleeding out.

It'd be cool if the grapple hook had a chance of taking their weapon out of their hand, they'd either try to fight you with a fist or shank they had on their persons

They should also make the more responsive to your hits, making it to where they can be knocked out for a brief amount of time if taking a blow to the head multiple times (like the bitters), you can break their limbs while they're alive and they either try to move away or just continue on

Map and Artsyle:
While this map is good looking at first, later on as you play you can notice how bland it can actually be, especially with old villedor, the map als makes no sense, no school or a police department but you can see police cars, a map update would be great honestly, adding on to what exists to make it more unique and changing it to make it better

Old Villedor: honestly, I think Old Villedor is really bad, looks generic, flat, and unappealing, it isn't really fun to do parkour in if you have central loop. The reason I love Dying Light 1's map is because both The Slums and Old Town have a different playstyle, while you could argue the same with Old Villedor, it isn't near the way DL1 does it, The slums is more grounded with it's layout, not being as vertical twords old town, but also has a lot more interesting POIs like the area with the hotels, the bridges, and The Slums is a really good place for parkour in general with the buildings, while yes, it has a good amount of copy and paste buildings, but that fits with its location and they use it wisely, it also has a good identity with its Artsyle, the way the buildings look and feel compared to dl2 is major, the streets are barricaded, the atmosphere is amazing with the music the game plays and how small the map feels, dl2's map is a example of bigger not being better, Old Villedor just feels bland, not having an interesting layout, the buildings looking the exact same, not interesting POIs, it doesn't have the feeling The Slums did in terms of its atmosphere, practically no buildings are barricaded, it looks like people didn't try to fight back, it doesn't even have a school or police department which is baffling, and I heard that a good chunk was made by AI, which would make you think would help with time, but it just feels souless, it is simply really uninteresting compared to central loop, but even then, Central Loop also has a lot of problems.

Central Loop:
While yes, Central Loop is better than Old Villedor, it suffers from the same problems of copy and paste, uninteresting locations, and feeling souless

Central loop is the Old town of DL2, so I'm gonna compare that to central loop like I did with the slums and Old Villedor

The layout is an improvement to Old villedor but it still lacks in identity and artsyle, the buildings don't look that interesting, the layout, while better than Old villedor, is still pretty bad, in terms of the way the map looks, it looks like an overun city that I've seen in every other zombie media, old town was the opposite, I loved the medieval vibes the map had as well as interesting POIs, like the open area filled with zombies (I barely know any names of the locations of the maps), but what I'm saying is that Central Loop has a bland identity, its something we've seen in practically all zombie games/movies, the map style of the map could be improved, add/change buildings to make the map feel more unique, make it more closed in, it honestly feels too open, it could mess with performance, but if they would've put the maps between loading screens, that would've helped the game a lot instead of pushing the engine even more, alot of central loop has the same problems as Old villedor, uninteresting locations, copy and paste (I do appreciate them trying to fix the copy and paste aspects but its still a issue), identity, and so on

Improvements to Stores and GRE facilities:
These need heavy changes as they are probably the most uninteresting thing about the whole map, theres practically no differences to them, once you did it once or twice, you've basically experienced all of them. They should go back to them, and improve, change layouts, add more rooms, make them tighter and put some puzzles in them, make each one not feel the exact same, and add repayability to them outside of challenges.

They said its more advanced then Dl1's but besides for details on textures, it doesn't feel like that, the game performs worse than dl1 honestly and that might be due to how much the game is processing, maybe they should put the maps between loading screens, the engine feels significantly worse than dl1's, no moving sun or moon, no weapons degration, worse physics and lighting, worse flashlight (idk if thats part of the engine but the fact they said that they would need to change the lighting system for a better flashlight is insane), worse zombies (the zombies feel so much more janky and cartoony in terms of fighting them), invisible walls for enemies still being a problems, the engine feels so weird and it honestly wasn't needed to make a new engine, they showed us the dl1 engine could handle it when they showcased E3 (im not a e3 glazer), all making a new engine did was burn dev time really
