My best guess why this happens, is because they will disable the mode after the open beta without doing an update to the game itself, and the game disables the mode for the player and then enables it again, which causes the quest to reset

and i can tell you enemies drop 4 days ago like 20 dmg weps now 25-35 dmg

with sockets and some better loot yellow items i make 66 dmg to like 75-90 dmg

meanwhile this cutting edge axe is non upgrade at 80 dmg

upgraded is 200 dmg

when i remember how much effort is to kill stuff at lvl 3 with 50 dmg wep

like 3-15 hits

on easy i can def say on nightmare

they use dlc weapons 🙂
