For bows, I would have to say the "Bard's Call" (I think its called) as its the highest damage I have even found or read about. The Ballista bow is situationally amazing. The PK Crossbow & Hakkons crossbows are both equally nice IMO.

Hakkons Crossbow is full auto as well, but you have to buy the little DLC pack for real currancy. Where as the Pilgrim crossbow is acquired by doing weekly bounties! If I did not get the Hakkon pack for free I would have acquired the First Pilgrims crossbow.

In the event you are still wantinging information about bows... The "Bard's Call" I mentioned earlier is a legend level 50 bow, and Winter's Bow is a legend level 100, and if I remember right they both have the same damage number listed. They seemed the same to when I was trying to compare them for a wile. I find the Dead of Winter bow (Cristmas Event 2023) to be very nice, as it has an automatic frost effect.

Hello I require some help, Im doing a fresh nightmare mode playthrough and following the story i reached the raid on the first bandit camp with bandit bosses. Now i've fought him for over 20 minutes, kiting every attack, hitting as much as I can, I broke 3 weapons on his ugly face, he's about 50% dead, this cant be the "difficulty" .... this is plain stupid ...surely the devs didnt just crank health by 1000% and said yep, thats hard.

I hate to say this because it's so godamn overused but, nightmare dificulty is the dark souls of dying light, dark souls demands you play a certain way, and so does the nightmare mode

but also you just have WAY more tools in combat beyond slapping faces in dl2, especially against humans

also the flashlight in this game is a different context than just "can i see" ,if you played a different diffuculty you would have seen that enemies spot the flashlight and it raises notice or the detection meter thats turned off in nightmare mode, so having it on and having it dim and flicking it on and off is a different dynamic.

not to say the instant recharge isnt a bug

but like, having it on and turning it on in zombie faces is not actually a thing you want to do

having to turn it on and off at all is a risk in itself

its the first time i've had to run away from a bandit fight to climb a building for better positioning and to drop for parkour attacks

yeah i just asked about that a bit ago, apperently open world activities recieve the x6 times xp scaling, but xp reward amounts like missions dont.

also i think challenges are bugged cause they just arent giving survivor points

which sucks cause half of the side quests in games are fuckin parkour challenges

I freely admit that the time I have spent on this game is not a reflected in my level of skill in DL2. My save is Legend 218 I think with very good gear fights were the green Hazmat Suit poison loogie launchers can take me down, and plenty of other fights if I am not paying enough attention.

Nightmare isnt good for this bountiy coz there is no indicator of chase lvl and u can get in to trouble when it reaches lvl5 with all those tyrants on ure back (and there is no clear indicator except for soundtrack that lvl5 chase started)
