We should be able to return to the prologue area outside the walls after doing the prologue. It had the only unique safe zone in the game and was really fun getting up and running again. I really hope DLC2 goes back to using unique safe zones like in DL1, even if it means there will be less safe zones overall. And if it did let us return there, there should 100% be an option to turn the mansion into a sanctuary of sorts, taking in survivors outside the walls. You are literally incentivised to kill them for XP/loot

but on nightmare they’re invincible to non-glitched weaponary
