I reckon that it is fun playing on hard, but if you want more loot, switch to easy/normal. Market vendors also give out absolutely shit prices on hard so definitely go to normal/easy for Vendors

Utilize that far jump as much as you can, any obstacle you jump over you can get such a fast boost. Keep using active landings on every landing, even a small jump with active landing will land you xp

I like to hit the volatiles and update your flashlight and paraglider first but the uv flashlight will save you a lot of headaches and deaths

Get to Level 4 night chases, hit as many far jumps and active landings as you can and you'll be climbing up xp levels

And often enough i pull my parachute, but i haven't caught air yet, so i just fall at the same speed & die
