The downward attacks are so wonky and not smooth in 2, I watched a clip I had on my ps camera roll and dl1 had smooth and quick downward attacks and didn’t take 5 seconds to start a normal attack

regular zombie literally have 2 attack animations

ok so smooth playing. lets get into that. 30 fps frames per second. you're dividing a second up into 30 slices. that means that the device running it has be get whatever physics calculations DONE before the next frame call comes up so that things don't look wonky. if you UP the FPS, you're giving the hardware even LESS time to finish it's tasks. So, you MIGht get a better result given xbox limitations lowering your FPS.

I run all my games typically around 75 fps. granted, right now I'm running dying light at max fps and getting anywhere from 94-110+ but there's no need to do that because it doesn't chance the game. going over 75 fps is pretty much pointless because my monitor doesn't do higher than 75.
