What actually helped me was that "Perfectly block 10 attacks in a row" achievement. You have to dodge power attacks otherwise the achievement restarts

yea, so far on my new game save, I've not had any issues. all my items are there as they should be including the First Pilgrim stuff. First pilgrim gear on a new save is SO gg nice with the stamina increase.

Boosters are really useful. Ofc boosters like swimming or some of the resistance boosters aren't that useful but regeneration, toughness and muscle are what I recommend investing in

I think you've got a core / threading issue, but there are also some things with Dlying Light 2's loading. try setting your LOD range higher.

I feel like they could make nighttime more dynamic. Balance some other special infected down on the ground. Some banshees on the rooftops. Cut down the amount of volatiles in half and lessen the spawnrate by 60%

At this point nighttime is just an xp farming activity

Place screamers inside of buildings so they can cause chases within apartments, not just outside.
Banshees near apartment complexes and on roofs where they can actually surprise you by jumping down on you.
Bombers in tight corridors between buildings. Not out in the open where its easy to evade em.
Goons and Demolishers/Chargers as well as Spitters already have an arena-type thing going in the middle of playgrounds and between buildings. I feel like those activities are always fun.

The amount of volatiles currently is just ridiculous. Behind every corner, roughly 30-40m apart usually. On every rooftop almost, sometimes two or three on one.

They also insta-respawn when you kill one. Swarm you with 4-10 of em at once eventually at higher chase levels. Cut spawnrate by half if not more, don't place em every where. 1/2 or 1/3 of current spawnrate would be fitting.
The instant-respawn is probably the most annoying part at the moment. Once you start a chase, your only way out is UV areas or gliding for a long time. Most of the time at least.

That's just my 2 cents at least

What I wouldn't give to get screamers back though... those things were honestly the most creepy and scary thing about DL1
