I'm working on a mod / map for DL2. If I can figure out a way to put this in it, it's going to be in it. it fits the musical style.

Multiple cuts of just droning noise, doesnt sounds like anything that should be in Dying Light 2s base game. would fit more as idle music in terraria or minecraft.
Also sounds like something that was dropped out of a post-skrillex edm view farm YT channel

Also has nothing to do with DL2 still so I dont see a point in either the file or link being here, until you mentioned your map being made after the fact.

I mean if it fits your map aight, but still shouldnt be compared to something from the base DL2 experience

it definitely should be compared to base game music because I want theme of the music to match. That's important to me.

ok. so listen to the soundtrack more. I figured 400+ hours of playing the game, and hearing the soundtrack that was was enough, but you're probably right. I should spend dedicated time listening to the soundtrack in isolation from playing.

ok. I did try something I've never done before with music in that song, which came about after researching "Noise music," "noise core" and "hyperpop." I don't normally use non musical sounds like static, or spray etc, and someone suggested to me I research that in case it gave me some creative ideas. The stuff's horrible, that noise stuff. I'm much more a person for melodic music.

really like "A cursed medicine."

interesting how it's a nice orchestral piece, but with noise in it. example startingaround 1:37.

"The Night RUnners" is a GORGEOUS piece. LOVE that one. my project for map is the idea that tolga and fatin want to help aiden become better at stomping zombies, so they built a "zombie funhouse / shooting range for him to "get good at smashing zombies."

"be at peace" is another AMAZING one. plenty of great stuff here, but not quite the Tolga and Fatin feel to me.

yea, "new beginnings" is a pretty nice song too, but there are some harsh areas in the reverb.

one pretty strong around 384hz.

dropped 190 a bit too, now it sounds a lot more balanced, and less harsh.
