I can understand the hate, DL2 was the first game I downloaded on my brand new PS5 back in 22'. It was so bad then that I didn't pick up my controller for over a week before Horizon forbidden West tempted me back and made me feel like happiness was possible again (okay maybe a little dramatic) but the first game is alot of people's childhoods, a single player game with good multiplayer, great dlc and nearly endless grinding potential. The second was like being pissed on, now it's just a soft slap in the face, uncomfortable but not nearly as traumatizing.

The free roaming fun is the main appeal, and now that's it's been updated so much I'm excited to try again, but story is important.
