basically, the humans in btz have to destroy volatile hives, each hive has 4 volatiles that are hibernating kinda that you have to kill iirc

throwing your weapon did a lot of dmg to the volatiles, but you had to go pick your weapon up and you risked losing it.

with van crane, the weapon would return to you really quickly after you threw it (if it didn't hit something it would take longer), so basically you could spam throw and destroy a hive in like 30 seconds

Guns aren't broken in this game

In dl1 you could kill the rebar guy in 3 headshots with a pistol. I'm this game it takes like 20 headshots from a shotgun

The time that I really started interacting with them was just about a week ago when I’m already legend level 100ish. However, I feel a great reason why they were so scary in DL1 was because generally you were evolving with Crane, he didn’t really know much until the end of the game. Aiden can pretty much do everything crane knew how to do by the end of his story, at the start of his.

Well, you don’t really need to do any. Just wait to the end of the game if you want to do them. The pilgrim outpost bounties also give you like an entire week to do them. The Shen Xiu rewards aren’t very good either.
