I think I figured it out. You need to leave old Villedor asap so you get enough skill points and shit. Exploring the first area without doing any quests like in the first game. Like I always do is exactly the wrong way. Techland should have communicated that better.

The probability to meet bandits in old Villedor is much higher as they are also on the roofs and there are many of them. I just ran into dozens of guys with level 1. Whereas in the city you got way more freedom and save places.

It means that the density of dangers is much higher in the first area. Ever since I went to the 2nd I was having a blast and things went up fast. The beginning is very difficult even on easy mode. Compared to the old game where you can grind yourself up fast and have the save roofs. Barely any bandits. And if you meet bandits throw Molotows and you are good.

Because what I did was in DL to just explore and kill and level. Until I got to the next mission. I killed many of Rais men. To get the medication. And so on. Seriously. It was easy. And in dying light 2 you die fast and dangers are everywhere.

It's no different. There are dangers in DL1 as well. Like at night time with the volatiles and night walkers.

The only difference is that you could farm disaster relief packages early and get powerful so that the rest of the game is just way easy.

Much less bandits bro. They are only where the packages are or in story areas in the first area of the game. Seriously. In DL2 you meet a group. One calls for reinforcement and now you fight 12 men.

is there any way to break the dam that holds the pond with the inhibitor in it in the neutral zone, the houses under the lake are submerged because of the damn dam, please tell me that there is a side story where those houses come to light, I KNOW THAT STORY EXISTS I FEEL IT SOMEWHERE IN MY HEART.
