I’ve heard the GRE anomaly challenge is a bit bugged. I think you only get progress once the death animation of the anomaly/aberration is over, and when you replay aberrations, the mission ends before the death animation fully completes, so you have to make it ragdoll quickly to end the death animation to get progress registered. You can do this by blowing it up with explosives, kicking or swinging your weapon at the aberration after killing it

If you’re killing anomalies and not aberrations though, I’m not sure why progress wouldn’t be registered since it’s not part of a mission
