my complaint with the firearms update is that you get so little exp from doing missions, it's way too grindy, and the missions feel very similar to each other.. like most of them are just beat this, loot the same thing for 3-4 different missions, there's multiple missions where you have to protect the generators, there's no way to speed up the process, i'm not sure if it feels that satisfying after doing it for a couple of times... The new Keith boss in that survivor missions is pretty cool tho, wish there was more uniqueness to the missions, but eh..
