I definitely preferred the origina ldying light 2 nights where the volatiles didn't come out until chase level went up, and howlers only came out at night, and the chase started if they saw you. it was a decent mechanic. but, they killed that becaues people complained about not being able to farm volatiles easily at the docks because you had to get to tier 3 or 4 before they came out.

@lethal fiber the hotfix still hasn't fixed the issue of a black screen bug when loading save. Compass ui and flashlight ui is the only reactive aspect of the game. Many other people are experiencing this issue, search black screen in dl2-support. Please can you pass this issue on to the devs as we are having no luck via contacting support. We are missing out on 2nd anniversary celebrations due to errors from the games update, please, please, please, pass this on to the devs to fix 🙏
