I feel like this is something we may eventually go for. but first iteration is here - let's make sure the base elements, like weapons in game in first place - work in satisfactory way, then we can take next stept to add more firearms content. I still have a variety of killing methods, grapple hook and pull off buildings, grapple with a curb stomp followup, the classic Infeno charge which makes renegades dance and holler like theyre at a rave... and my knew shock toy that does the same...
you can also go Judo on them and pull them into spikes using the "grapple" prompt
and while my ax is spinning through the air at some archer renegade, Im throwing flaming punches at the melee dancers

not all of them, some are from dl1. All weapons got updated through, and animations for them are new as well - we shared some mockup videos on stream, from new mockuped shooting to enemy reactions

The game was never designed around guns and forcing them is just idiotic for me you can tell as guns currently are worst than crossbows and scorpio .

I find a game with their ranged option surrounding post apocalyptic diy weapons thats a mix between medieval weaponry with modern mechanics more interesting then the 100th zombie games with guns.

And techland shouldve sticked to the no guns thing untill the end if they decided to do so or at least adding it back for a good reason. They didnt add it back for a good reason

The thing that didnt stuck with me is also the fact that they never make it interesting, no new mechanics like customization system in tarkov and metro, no tying it to the story or making interesting concept like homefront revolution. Heck they couldve made it a main story quest where you now actually have a choice that matter now as you can choose between saving jai to add guns into your gameplay or not but they dont even do that.
