Also the grab has a vaccum so you can suck somebody in an weak toss em into spikes. It works 99% of the time

Jokes aside, I got an idea on how they should implement the guns in the upcoming update. IK it's 2 days away, so it's not gonna act as feedback, but... I do wanna know your thoughts:

Honestly, I feel that the best implementation for firearms would be to add another chapter agent (like Harper/the Huntress). Leveling up the agent allows access to new guns and ammo types; ammo of which cannot be crafted, only bought using the agent's tokens. I feel this would allow ammo to be scarce, but not too scarce, and also make guns feel unique.

Honestly the nightmare claws are not only cool looking but one of my favorite knuckledusters in the entire game. The hit detection is tight. (Cept for the power attacks they could use a tweak.) the weapon mod is pretty decent if a little confusing how it works cause the weapon desc. Doesn’t explain it but I figured it out really fast.

Also to answer the question, go try out the guns and see how strong they are on hard mode. Especially cause my legend skills for range weapons are maxed out and I got a feeling they will probably retool the crossbow legend tree to also include guns

Because bows would be silly. Crossbows and guns have more in common then bows. Both have clips and shoot strong

I like bleeding although wouldn’t it also make sense to have the effect also lower the stance meter on enemies over time? It would make the bleed effect have a good effect like how toxic stuns human enemies for a bit when it applies. not sure why virals don’t get stunned though.

Honestly I just hope with nightmare mode delays we get a revamp to the map to make spike locations more consistent and less stupid. Like military outposts and convoys by default SHOULD HAVE SPIKES! And some props by default should always have spikes! Like for some reason sometimes a truck prop has spikes and doesn’t and some props which realistically should have them never do. Like barrels out in the city that are on fire should ALWAYS HAVE SPIKES! If they’re in safezones I can give it a pass but not in the city! Sometimes even those barrel’s don’t got spikes.
