well.. i have a mod that makes them more "aggressive" and spawns more of them at night, the mod also speeds up the chase level by quite a bit, and i can say apart from them being more, there's not a significant difference. Pirek is right, if they wanna make volatiles more aggressive, they have to work on their AI, something that mods can't achieve, or if they can, it will look clunky.

im not too much into mods, i dont know how they all work specifically in dl2, but from what i've seen most mods just remove or add something that's already in the game, it doesn't change anything significantly. So yeah, i hope we'll see a rework on volatiles, but i sincerely don't know what i would recommend for the improvement. I'd say they need to be made in such a way that they catch up to you much faster than at the moment, because in endgame it's way too easy to lose chase and you can get chased for the entire night without using any parkour skills, just simple running and jumping occasionally.

I really wish there was a way to check how long the frames are, like in dark souls checking the parry frames, you'd see a big shield around the tyrant 60% of the time, 30% of the time it doesn't have invincibility frames cause it's waiting for you to get back up from the ground, 10% is when u can actually damage it
