Small details is what makes games visually interesting and gives immersion, DL2 has no flashlight inertia, flickering, Aiden stands on Jesus, Theres no visual ambient effects (there WAS in the footage found in a 2020 build of the game, it was removed for some reason), blah blah if i thought about it could make a list of like 40 small details that DL1 had, that DL2 doesn't

all of this adds up though, it creates a complete lack of the world feeling real, because there aren't any small details making it feel alive
