Well for that to happen Community Mod Support needs to be real Community Mod Support, and not data pak mods for consoles (data pak mods means basic weather mods, models made out of meshes already in the game and not unique ones, slight graphical additions)

You know what'd be nice? A whole rework to weapon throwing. We have a dedicated aim button, let us use it to prepare a throw with dedicated animations instead of the goofy ass one we have now.

I know I ramble about this topic a lot, but asset replacing in Community Mod Support would be a small step technically, but a HUGE step in terms of modding.
If it comes to scripting, data paks are great, but what keeps modding behind in this game is how asset replacing is done, you have to download a third party editor on a trial, run a special script in it, then inject the texture/mesh mod into your games rpack and HOPE that nothing breaks.
This is too much hassle for the average player to f.e. make your grass look nicer.
Additionally, asset replacing is used for unique color grading, since color grading in this game is done with LUT textures, some UI mods also replace textures, since a lot of the UI uses textures.
