I never said better story, I personally believe both sucks ass (tbh idk why are people suddenly treating dl1's story like a masterpiece now) but it is a more comprehensible story. Ig you could say dl1's endgame is dlc reliant and btz reliant so fair enough ig. From what Ive heard dl1's detail has always been there they only patched out the bugs later on. Ig you can call dl2's endings replayability but.....theres a reason why people still preferred dl1 more. Quarantine zone is not the same with dl2. In dl2 every dark zone and quarantine zone is literally copy and pasted where in dl1 at least theres variety.

Theres also the wayy to grind focused aspect of the game. The half ass yet not fully commited rpg element. And the lack of modern dark ages aspect of dl2

Does anyone know how the loot 100 items in coop play bounty works? I joined a random game with someone and I was looting items but it wasn't counting

The date has not been confirmed but seeing from previous updates we can see that:

When they release an update+event activation, the update always comes out on a Tuesday

When they only release the update without an event the update comes out on Thursday

So I think they'll release anniversary update+event on January 30th and the event will last like 1.5 week and after start the lunar year event

1 handed axe, horrible, 2 handed axe, horrible, 2 handed baseball bat/sword, horrible, whoever animated the 1 handed axe should be killed by firing squad, aiden doesnt even swing the axe he just does a little pathetic swipe, a little cut, if i had an axe i would swing that motherfucker from as far back as a can, aiden just holds his hand out in front of him and just goes left in right slightly.
2 handed axe...when they changed the animation for this i stopped playing the game, and i continue to not use them because the animation is fucking crazy, your holding a 2 handed heavy weapon, what do you do? (a) swing with both hands bring it behind your head to get as much power in as possible, or (b) swing with one hand at some weird ass angle demolishing your wrists after the first swing, if you picked (b) you are officially a dying lighter.
baseball bat/sword animations, once again, why does aiden swing a weapon barely bringing it back before swinging, yknow with a baseball bat or a sword i would bring it behind my head and swing, not hold it in front of me and just go from left to right calling it a swing, also...WHY DO THEY BOUNCE OFF OF ZOMBIES LIKE THEYRE MADE OF FUCKING SPRINGS.
with that i conclude my rant, and have a burning hatred for this game because the weapon animations are horrible and have no power behind them when aiden is literally a fucking super human.

the weapons at the start of the game were perfect, they were literally perfect, apart from the weird white trail they left behind, but techland fucking butchered them, got rid of the delay as the weapon hit the enemy (makes you feel like you actually hit them), added shit weapon bounce, and got rid of all the good weapon animations and replaced them with horrible ones
