So those of us that prefer slash weapons actually get to do them.
I've only ever done 2 finishers in many hours played.

it's not a problem to get a weapon that has 500 or so damage, that's how i went and experienced finishers

i generally just use weaker weapons and save strong ones for when i get irritated or horded

It's not the guns that I'm more concerned about. It's that after 15-20 years, the main problems are family. Not water, food, electricity. We literally have 2 missions involving water and electricity where we are taught how to capture them. The city has been surrounded by chemicals for 15 years, which means that the water next to it, too, and there is only water that was in the city, but at the same time it is apparently quiet enough, since for 15 years no one tried to seize the water towers, well, and no one needed electricity.

For example people find out that the water is running out and riot, this is a good time for peacekeepers or renegades to take over the territory and make it their own. The problem with DL2's map, other than being created/assisted in being created by AI is that they seem to have forgotten to add really any unique buildings to the game. We have VNC Tower and the churches on the fringe of the Central Loop and that's kind of it for unique buildings and areas. They could have added a civil services area with a fire station and police station and government offices, a hospital in the central loop, a mall, all kinds of things. Instead we have a maze of samey apartments that have minimal variety. DL1 had unique areas for all their dark zones, but DL2 reuses dark zone areas everywhere and it's boring af

DL1 actually has hills and elevation changes, but DL2's map is almost entirely flat in the play areas. And the areas with elevation changes you often have to mash your interact key to clamber up hills on your hands and knees
